Cranbrook United Church is in the process of looking for a new minister. A JNAC Committee was struck and prepared a report for the congregation’s approval. The congregation approved and the report was then sent on to Presbytery for acceptance.
As of October 15, 2011, Kootenay Presbytery has declared a vacancy for the position of minister of Cranbrook United Church. Resumes were accepted until January 15th, 2012.
The Search Committee has since been screening the resumes and conducting interviews.
We look forward to their report and recommendations .
Good News. The Joint Search Committee will present their recommendation to hire an applicant to the congregation at a Congregational Meeting following worship on Sunday, March 11, 2012. Today was 1st notice of that meeting. 2nd notice will be given next Sunday. Stay tuned.
